June 2026 broke every gate built on forced follows.
Gate tools used SoundCloud’s API to follow, like and repost on the fan’s behalf the moment they connected. SoundCloud switched those APIs off. Every tool built on that mechanic stopped working the same day.
The same gate still works — like, repost, follow — but the fan makes those taps themselves, on SoundCloud, where they’re allowed. And on top of it you get what the old tools never gave you: a confirmed email address you own.
Twenty four seconds, in the clip, on what broke and why the replacement is free.
Create my gateUpload a file or paste the SoundCloud URL. Title, artwork and credits fill in for you.
One line in your SoundCloud description. Fans land on a page that loads fast and asks once.
Double-confirmed addresses, yours to keep. Export the list whenever you want.
Running right now. Every one of these is a fan list its artist owns.
One glance tells you if this week beat last week.
This is the dashboard every artist gets. Nothing on it is metered, blurred or held behind an upgrade.
Your fans. Your data. No meter.
The incumbent charges $10 a month to export the emails your own gate captured. We think that’s absurd. Everything below is free, permanently — we charge for campaigns we run, never for showing you your own numbers.
Double opt-in, so every address is real.
Visits, unlocks, downloads, per gate.
Where your fans actually are.
Which post, which description, which DM.
Your list, out, any time. No paywall on your own fans.
Meta, TikTok, Google — fire yours on your gate.
Promotion campaigns we run for you, on request. That is the whole business — your own data is never the meter, and there is no tier waiting to be unlocked.
What the incumbent charges for, we don’t.
Straight answers
Yes. Any like, repost or follow step is the fan's own tap on their own SoundCloud account — we never automate actions behind a fan's back. You choose which steps unlock the download, or run an email-only gate with none at all. The one thing we add: a fan who taps follow follows the Ōtocracy profiles (main and Records) as well as the artist, which is what pays for the tool being free. It is on the button, it never blocks a download, and it is the only thing we ask.
Gates, emails, analytics and export are free, permanently. We make money running promotion campaigns for artists who ask us to — never by metering your own data.
You do. We process them on your behalf, fans can unsubscribe in one click, and you can export the full list as CSV at any time.
No. A fan types an email, confirms it once, and downloads. No app, no signup, no player following them around.
Paste each track's SoundCloud URL and republish — about two minutes per gate. Your old links can point at the new pages.
